Metamarzo sas decides on the purposes and methods of data processing and on the tools to be used, also with regard to the security profile. For exclusively organizational and functional needs, we have appointed some Data Processors for the processing of users' personal data, for purposes strictly connected and related to the provision of the services offered on the Site, including the sale of products. These Data Processors have been chosen on the basis of a careful assessment of their level of experience, ability and reliability and, furthermore, are able to provide suitable guarantees of full compliance with the current provisions on data processing, including the data security profile. The Data Processors process the personal data of users of the Site according to the instructions given by the Data Controller.

Your personal data are collected and processed for purposes strictly connected to the use of the website, its services and the purchase of products. • as part of the product purchasing processes, we collect your personal data (such as, for example, personal data, email address, postal address, credit card and bank details, telephone number, etc.) through the order form for the sale and shipment of products - the legal basis of the processing is the Company's obligation to execute the contract with the interested party;
• as part of the request for technical assistance services, we collect your personal data to provide you with information about navigation problems, browser compatibility and displaying or loading web pages - the legal basis is the legitimate interest of the company to carry out this type of activity;
• to respond to user requests by email, telephone or through Customer Service - the legal basis of the processing is the legitimate interest of the company to follow up on user requests (this legitimate interest is equivalent to the user's interest in receiving a response to communications sent to the company) - the legal basis of the processing is the legitimate interest of the company to respond to user requests or, if the requests are related to purchases made, it is the need to perform the contract with the interested party or carry out pre-contractual measures adopted at the request of the interested party;
• to carry out statistical analyses and surveys for the purpose of improving our offering and our services - the legal basis is the legitimate interest of the company in carrying out this type of activity;

• for purposes necessary to ascertain, exercise or defend a right in court or whenever the judicial authorities exercise their judicial functions - the legal basis is the legitimate interest of the company to defend itself or exercise its right in court.

Newsletter

Upon your specific request (manifested by voluntary registration to the newsletter service), we may use your e-mail address for commercial communications on our products and services, in order to update you on news, products and our offers and promotions. 3 – How we collect your data and how we process it

Metamarzo collects personal data and other information directly from its users as part of the online registration process or the sending of order forms for the purchase of products on the website for the conclusion of e-commerce transactions. These data are processed, with automated and/or manual procedures, within the limits and purposes indicated above, including possible communication to third parties for purposes instrumental to the provision of the service requested by the user, as specified in the paragraph "To whom we communicate your personal data".

Browsing data

In order to make a payment using one of the payment cards offered on the Site, in fact, the user must enter the confidential payment card data directly on a page that will communicate via secure encryption protocol with the payment service provider (who will act as an independent data controller), without passing through the Company's server which, therefore, will not process such data in any way.

4 – What happens if you do not release your personal data

8 – Duration of storage

The personal data of the user (interested in the processing), are stored by Metamarzo only for the purposes for which they are collected (and indicated in paragraph 2) and/or for the time strictly necessary to perform the service and will be immediately deleted or anonymized upon achievement of the purpose of the processing.

The criteria used to determine the retention period are established by specific laws (which regulate the specific activity of the Data Controller) and by tax legislation regarding the processing of administrative-accounting data.

The data from registered users will be retained until you request the cancellation of your profile, while the data provided for commercial communications activities will be retained until the user requests the interruption of the activity and in any case within 2 years from the last interaction of any kind carried out by the user with Metamarzo.

To ensure that personal data is always accurate and up-to-date, relevant and complete, we ask users to update them also within the reserved area.
