Slow Food Origins of OlioCRU is a high-quality extra virgin olive oil, obtained exclusively from the pulp of Casaliva olives grown on Lake Garda, in Trentino.
Its peculiarity lies in the processing with pitting: the stone is separated before extraction, allowing the aromatic characteristics of the pulp to be enhanced.
The olives are harvested in the first weeks of October and processed in the OlioCRU mill in Riva del Garda using a temperature-controlled process.
Produced in limited quantities and recognized in important olive oil competitions, Origini expresses a rich and persistent sensory profile. On the nose, hints of freshly cut grass and green almondemerge, while on the palate, fruity notes are accompanied by harmoniously balanced bitterness and spiciness.
An extra virgin olive oil that reflects the Garda region through careful production and a distinctive character.
Thanks to its aromatic intensity and balanced flavor, Origini Slow Food is particularly suitable for enhancing refined dishes and simple preparations.
It pairs perfectly with fish and shellfish appetizers, raw meats and game, but also with vegetable soups and boiled potatoes.
Used raw, it allows you to fully appreciate its herbaceous notes and pleasant green almond finish, adding personality and refinement to every preparation.
